Made from Acacia timber the textured chestnut-brown finish is the result of 3 coats of paint. After time there will be hairline cracks and surface wear will appear in the finish due to the timber moving. After the first season, if you want to re-treat your furniture we advise a light sanding before applying a thin later of our Sherwood treatment which can be purchased separately.
